Dear friends of Earl Haig,
Welcome to another exciting year at one of the most diverse and
talented schools in the country. I hope you are ready to seize every
day with passion and determination, and strive to make this year
count. We are very fortunate to be part of a school that is not only
strong in academics and arts, but also outstanding in
extracurricular activities. In fact, we have over one hundred clubs
and councils for you to take part in! No matter what your interests
are, you can definitely find a club that showcases your talent,
sparks your interests, and satisfies your quirks. Undoubtedly,
the largest and most prolific council at Earl Haig is the Leadership
Council.
Leadership Council is spearheaded by countless talented leaders,
who work together to provide you with enriching opportunities that
will inevitably improve your high school experience. From your
Grade 9 Orientation Day to your last high school days at Commencement, we will be there all the way, ensuring that each event is memorable. We want to make sure that each student will get the opportunity to engage in all the different activities offered at Earl Haig. We want to ensure that you will take all these skills and friendships that you have developed with you to university and beyond. Our 150 student members want to make a difference in your high school careers by helping to organize Parent-Teacher Interviews, Winter Hamper, the Volunteer Fair, and many more! Joining Leadership Council is the best way to meet motivated and like-minded individuals that will not only help you develop your character and personality, but will also grow to become part of your Earl Haig family.
We, the Leadership Council Executive Team, are ready to work relentlessly to make this year the best year you have ever had. We are eager to meet every one of you, and we are ready to lend a hand. So find us and seek us out. If you have any questions, we are here to help.
